Seizure Aid

Picture
Okay, I know this little guy is having a ball and definitely NOT a seizure, but it was the closest picture I could find.  Nevertheless, and unfortunately, seizures are a very real part of life for many dogs.

We have added a Seizure Aid to our growing list of Essential Oil Blends and Remedies for pets.  Seizure Aid will not be suitable for cats as it contains in part, both Lemon and Orange, both of which are citrus and therefore toxic to cats.  The Orange is a 'right brain' stimulant, and the Lemon is 'a left brain' stimulant, using both of these in addition to Coconut, Frankincense (a must-have) Essential Oil and Ylang Ylang will encourage the brain to work as a whole to reduce, and hopefully eliminate the occurrence of convulsive activity.  There is a specific dilution ratio ensuring the safety of use for your dog or horse, so if you are planning to create the blends at home, be certain to research this fully.  We have created the blends of highest therapeutic grade essential oils at a very reasonable price for you.

There are pharmaceuticals for seizures and this is not a recommendation to replace those, and I am not a veterinarian.  Essential Oil Blends and Remedies are used by us successfully as simply a different way of healing.  You might think of some of those ways as Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM), Holistic, Alternative, Homeopathic, etc.

Homeopathy was founded by a German physician, Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).  Natural substances, of course, are often acutely toxic. Troubled by the side effects that often accompanied his medications, Hahnemann experimented with diluting them. After each successive dilution, he made the remarkable discovery that although dilution eliminated the side effects, it did not reduce the effectiveness of the medications. This is known as “the law of infinitesimals.”  Therefore the thought process is, that although the coconut carrier oil reduces the toxicity of the natural essential oils, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the intended uses and outcomes.
